Post Frame Construction
The foundation of everything we build. Treated posts set 4 feet deep on concrete pads, with girts, trusses, purlins, and metal covering — built to last a lifetime.
How We Build
The post-frame construction process
Post-frame construction has stood the test of time. While methods may vary, the strong fundamentals remain the same — here’s how we bring your project from the ground up.
Post Holes & Treated Posts
Treated posts are set into post holes approximately 4 feet deep.
Girts & Horizontals
Once posts are set, girts are added to form the wall framework.
Trusses & Purlins
Roof trusses are installed and purlins are added to complete the roof framework.
Doors, Windows & Framing
Doors and windows are installed, completing the building’s
structural shell.
Metal Covering
Metal siding and roofing are installed in your choice of customizable colors and finishes.
Finishing Options
Add insulation, concrete, electrical, heat, overhangs, and interior finishes anytime — fully customizable to your needs.
Why Post-Frame?
A great alternative to conventional stick-built construction
Pole buildings eliminate the need for traditional frost footers. Concrete floors are optional and can be poured anytime after the building is finished.
Metal siding creates a virtually maintenance-free building — holding its color and sheen for many years, eliminating annual scraping and painting.
- No frost footers
- Optional concrete floors
- Insulated interiors
- Easy heat & electric setup
- Larger sizes available
- Low-maintenance metal siding
- No annual roof painting
- Functional overhangs
- Many color options
- Cost-effective vs. stick-built construction
Customize your building's colors
We offer a wide variety of color choices for the roof, trim, siding, and doors — so your pole building looks exactly the way you envision it. Talk to James about color options during your consultation.
